Can one rebel bring down a group of billionaires (“The 31”) who control society’s mind?
“Great sci-fi literature that has stood the test of time not only predicted the future, but offered wisdom and caution for generations to come. McVicar does this and more, delivering a genre-blending blur of thrilling, cerebral dystopian fiction, which holds a cracked carnival mirror to contemporary society, resulting in a terrifying yet clear-eyed vision of a near future that feels more possible every day.”

Labels and classifications have held this world back for thousands of years, and it’s time to change that thought process. If enough people start demanding our leaders use new technology to help humanity rather than as a method to achieve individual power and wealth, society will benefit. Cal Shook’s fight might be one of fiction, but ours is not. It’s time to try to make society a better place for all of us.
